My Life

StageStruck

Hi everyone! As many of you may know, for the past 4 years I have been a part of a performance troupe called StageStruck! We are a group of teens ranging from 12-18. The best thing about StageStruck is that we spend SO much time together that we basically have no choice other than to be very close. Everyone has their own personality, yet everyone gets along so well. They are truly some of my best friends!

Whenever I tell people we are a performance troupe, their mind immediately thinks “Show choir!” or “dance studio!”. The unique thing about StageStruck is that we are neither! I tell people that we do a little bit of everything.. we do it all! When we practice, we put as much time into dancing as we do harmonies and singing. We work as a team to create an entertaining performance, but not take away from the performer that has the mic in their hand at that moment.

Whether it’s performing for 20 people in lawn chairs or on a big stage in front of an audience of 300 people, we always give it our best. We’ve performed at over 50 festivals and events, and still continue to work hard. Some of the places we have performed at are:

The Country Music Hall of Fame and CMA Fest in Nashville, TN

The annual Sand Bass Festival in Madill, OK

Some of the most popular shows in Branson, MO, including.. The Haygoods, Clay Cooper’s Country Express, The Baldknobbers, Branson Landing, The Hughes Brothers, The Legends, and More!

TONS of Christmas shows at places like.. Enchant, Six Flags over Texas, and local venues in Texas and Oklahoma!

4th of July at Denison High School’s Munson Stadium.

Countless performances at festivals in downtown Denison including, Kids Fest, Fall Fest, Barks and Paws, and the monthly Red River Opry show at the Denison Historic Rialto Theater.

…just to name a few of my favorite performances!

This group is made up of some of the most hardworking, talented, and loving people I’ve ever known, and I am proud to be a part of such an incredible group of entertainers.

Love, Lexi
